What is PR?

PR's official Oxford Dictionary definition is ‘the professional maintenance of a favourable public image by a company or other organisation’.

But what does that actually mean?

PR is about raising awareness and creating engagement among your target audience. It's a long-term effort which can drive sales, attract new employees or funding, educate the public, find a buyer, communicate in a crisis, and much more.

Traditionally, it is the role of a PR agency to connect with journalists and tell the world the intriguing successes and key messages of your business - without having to pay for the placement of an advert; either online or in print.

This idea still sits central to a PR strategy, but we offer a fresh take on it, bringing together thought-leadership, content marketing, social media and digital PR to help clients build recognition and influence surrounding their brand.

Advertising is saying you're good. PR is getting someone else to say you're good.
