Rosenbauer UK, manufacturer of fire fighting vehicles and equipment, has appointed Huddersfield-based public relations firm Acomm to handle its communication strategy.
By providing ongoing media relations and community outreach support, Acomm — which was established in May this year — will help to reinforce Rosenbauer’s position as the UK’s leading supplier of firefighting technology.
Founder of Acomm, Amy Byram, said: “Rosenbauer UK designs and manufactures world-class, innovative fire appliances that genuinely push boundaries and improve the effectiveness of firefighters on the front line. This is an organisation with an already established reputation for being the very best at what they do.
“But the next 12 months are pivotal, as the firm prepares for its next phase of growth. It’s therefore an exciting time to come on board as a PR partner; our work will highlight the benefits of their life-saving trucks, whilst also engaging with the Yorkshire community. 2018 will be a big year!”
Rosenbauer UK has grown significantly in 2017, securing £18million worth of contracts in the last six months alone.
“Our recent successes are set to be further propelled by the effective trial of our game-changing appliance, the AT-Stinger, by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service,” explained Oliver North, managing director of Rosenbauer UK.
“This truck is capable of piercing the roof or wall of a building and extinguishing fire with almost immediate effect. Lancashire’s approval therefore paves the way for other fire services to invest in this new concept, which will inevitably help to save more lives and property across the UK.”
Commenting on Acomm’s appointment, Oliver added: “Our next phase of growth requires precise incubation in terms of perception, and I genuinely believe Acomm, as one of the most exciting up and coming regional PR firms, translate our business and strategy in the most accurate and effective manner. After weighing up all regional options, I found Acomm to be best suited for our ongoing requirement.”
Acomm’s clients include bathroom and tile retailer Easy Bathrooms, Huddersfield-based house developer SB Homes and mortgage broker KB Mortgage Services. Other projects span across the automotive, recycling, and construction sectors.
Amy finished: “This recent client win means that 2017 is ending on a high for Acomm. Now I’m looking ahead to 2018 and am excited to support more organisations by gaining them the industry, regional and national recognition they deserve.”
